New York State Angel Fund Application
The New York State Board has just approved the creation of an Angel Fund—a new resource designed to support YOU, our members! Whether you need help covering the cost of yearly membership dues or want to attend mission-oriented events but are facing financial barriers, the Angel Fund is here to help make it possible.
All requests will be kept strictly confidential. We’re here to support you—no judgment, just help.
To qualify for assistance through the Angel Fund, applicants must:

Be a current member of the organization as defined by the Bylaws of AAUW-NYS.

Demonstrate financial need—this can be self-reported and does not require proof but should include a brief explanation of the circumstances.

Request funds for eligible purposes, such as annual membership dues, travel, lodging, or registration fees for mission-aligned events. Other participation-related expenses may be approved by the Board.
The individual fund request can be up to $100 per request. Priority may be given to individuals who have not previously received support, depending on available funds.
